Part of the Scottsdale Unified School District, the new Copper Ridge School (grades K through 8th) is designed as one campus with shared-used facilities. Core academic studies include reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies. In addition, Copper Ridge incorporates fine arts, technology and physical education in its curriculum. The middle-school grades also receive instruction in family and consumer sciences, foreign cultures and languages and study skills.
The campus is augmented by public park facilities designed by the City of Scottsdale that coincide with the school planning teams goals. These plans include softball and soccer fields, as well as basketball, volleyball and tennis courts. Copper Ridge offers fresh and modern facilities and most importantly, a positive learning environment and excellent teaching staff.

Chaparral High School offers students in grades 9 through 12 the same high standard in academics and facilities. Also part of the Scottsdale Unified School District, Chaparral High School offers a comprehensive educational program, including: advanced placement and honors classes; a comprehensive core for English, mathematics, science, social studies, and history; foreign languages; computer education; fine arts; physical education; industrial technology; home economics; and business classes. School clubs, community service activities, and interscholastic sports are also part of the high school experience. Twenty-two credits are required for graduation.
